This is where we hold our monthly meeting.
Part of the San Bernardino National Forest, the Big Bear area has dozens of off-road trails. Some of them are well-maintained, while others can be rugged and challenging. The high elevation of Big Bear makes for great summertime off-roading in Southern California, when other destinations are too hot. If you like 'wheeling in the snow, there's plenty of that in the winter. If you're up for a long trail ride, you can even start your trip down in the desert and off-road all the way up to the top of the mountains.
Corral Canyon is an awesome spot to wheel just 45 mins east of San Diego and located near the town of Pine Valley. Within this area, the Corral Canyon and Bobcat Meadows campgrounds jointly give OHV enthusiasts access to over 51 miles of system OHV trails. These trails which run across the Cleveland National Forest Lands, offer you a heady mix of scenic beauty and test of skills.
Located in the Jacumba Mountains in southwestern Imperial County, the Elliot Mine Area contains a diverse natural and cultural history. The piles and towers of boulders catch the eye of many visitors. These rocks were formed several miles beneath the surface of the earth, by the gradual cooling of molten rock material.
